martes 20: Estaremos leyendo y analizando el poema “Borges y yo” contestarán las preguntas del margen y la guía de estudio.

miércoles 21: trabajarán en la guía.

TAREA para el miércoles 21: “deberán llevar impresa la imagen de “Las dos Fridas” para trabajar en la comparación de texto e imagen. 

jueves 22: llevar cuestionario, tendrán examen del poema. Se les entregará la tesis para presentarla el viernes.

viernes 23: Introducción del cuento Borgiano.

World Literature / AP Literature and Composition – February 12th – 16th

World Literature. This week we will continue to read Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. We will map development of Frankenstein’s creature, as it changes and becomes an intellectual being. Students will be working on an essay this week, which will be due on Thursday.

AP Literature and Composition. This week, students will be working on an essay pertaining to an individually assigned short story. Students will be researching a critical analysis of their chosen work and will be preparing for an oral presentation next week. Additionally, students will be also be reading the short stories assigned to their classmates and will be writing short responses.

World Literature / AP Literature and Composition – February 5 – February 9

World Literature. This week we will continue to read Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. Students will begin to explore themes that are present such as Creator vs. Creation, Nature vs. Man, Natural Law, Father and Son, Human Responsibility, and Revenge. There is a reading quiz on Wednesday.

AP Literature and Composition. Students will be writing an essay pertaining to one of two major themes present in Hamlet. Given the scheduled power outage, extra in-class time allotted for the essay will be given. As a result, we will begin preparing for the Short Fiction and Satire unit that is next at the end of this week.
